Why I am seeking the nomination to become the official SNP candidate for Edinburgh Central and Eastern

As a skilled campaigner with media experience gained through my work and during the 2014 Scottish Independence Referendum, I am seeking the nomination of local SNP members to become the official SNP candidate in the Edinburgh Central and Eastern Constituency.

My achievements include the success of the detect cancer early campaign and making the case for access to free prescriptions in Scotland.

It was through that work that I got to know our First Minister and we developed a mutual respect as we recognised our shared values and beliefs.

I have worked across Edinburgh as a nurse and seen first hand the many issues that affect our city.

The NHS matters to me and I know it does to you.

As part of the Yes Campaign with Women for Independence and in the general election, I campaigned across our city and at a national level.

I know I have the experience, expertise and commitment to retain Edinburgh Central for the SNP, to represent all the people of the constituency and help us achieve our ambitions for Scotland.

If you would like to know more about my bid to be nominated, please email me.
